Get Ready
For AI.

An interactive guide about AI for kids.

Children are surrounded by AI.
They should know how it works.
Let's get started!
Why now

Kids are growing up with AI all around them.

Most don’t understand what it is. We’re fixing that.

It’s already in their pockets, classrooms, and toys.

From smart phones to self-driving cars, AI is everywhere in a kid’s daily life, usually without anyone telling them so.

GR4AI is a non-profit book project.

We introduce kids ages 7–12 to artificial intelligence in a way that’s fun, clear, and actually makes sense to them.

The book

A launchpad into the world of tomorrow.

More than just a book. It equips kids and the grownups guiding them with the tools to understand AI, navigate its impact, and dream up a better world using it.

This book ignites children’s natural curiosity and transforms it into a powerful understanding of artificial intelligence: what it is, how it’s shaping our world, and why it matters.

Through engaging storytelling and real-world applications, it inspires young minds to dream big and think boldly, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to become the innovators, leaders, and ethical entrepreneurs of tomorrow’s AI-driven future.

As the digital landscape evolves, this book prepares kids not just to keep up, but to lead the way.

Inside the book

Why is this book different?

Built around the questions kids actually ask, and the ones the adults around them are still working out.

  • Fifteen chapters, easy to teach in the classroom and at home.
  • Interactive elements, child-friendly characters, fun facts, colour and motion, so learning stays fun.
  • Real-world facts about jobs, courses and how AI is used.
  • Children can upload their drawing of what AI looks like to them and join a global community of learners.
  • Questions spread through the chapters help children remember what they learned.
  • A glossary that explains every tricky word.
  • A final quiz and a certificate children can print.
  • Easy to update as AI keeps changing.
  • It is all free, for you and the young minds in your life. Please share it widely!
Our promise

Spark curiosity. Fuel creativity. Build confidence.

We promise to help children aged 7–12:

Understand

What AI is and how it affects their world today, from smart phones to self-driving cars.

Explore

Exciting real-life examples of AI in action across health, education, fashion, food, entertainment, and more.

Think

Critically and ethically about how we use AI and how it should be used in the future.

Play & experiment

Through hands-on activities, fun facts, and interactive learning tools.

Imagine

Their role in shaping the future as tomorrow’s innovators, scientists, artists, and leaders.

Why we’re doing this

We are a non‑profit initiative.

We care about children and their future, and we want to make an impact.

We are independent: the team works on GR4AI as volunteers, and no company pays for it or has a say in what it says.

Together, we’re building something that speaks to kids, not just about them.
