Get Ready For AI

Children are surrounded by AI.
They should know how it works.

Overview

Kids today are growing up with AI all around them—often without even realizing it. Algorithms shape what they see online, suggest the videos they watch, and even talk to them through virtual assistants and game characters. AI is changing how they learn too, with apps that help with math, language, and even creative writing. But it’s not just on screens. AI is starting to show up in everyday life. At the doctor’s office, it helps read X-rays and spot illnesses faster. Some kids wear smartwatches that use AI to remind them to move, sleep better, or calm down. On the road, AI helps families avoid traffic, park easier, and stay safer in the car—even if we’re not riding in self-driving cars just yet.As AI keeps shaping the world around them, kids should know how it works. The best way to learn? Get hands-on. Explore how algorithms are built. See how they affect choices, fairness, and the way we live. With AI literacy, kids won’t just use the tech—they’ll understand it. And maybe even build the future with it.

Who We Are

We’re a group of parents, educators, and tech folks with one goal: helping kids aged 8 to 12 understand the world of AI.We visit schools and run workshops that explain what AI is, how it works, and where it shows up in everyday life—from the apps they use to the cars they ride in. We keep it hands-on, playful, and packed with real-world examples that spark curiosity and imagination. Our sessions aren’t about screen time or rules—they’re about raising thoughtful questions. We talk about what AI can do well, where it can go wrong, and why it matters. We want kids to explore the how, the why, and the what if of technology. Our mission is simple: help kids become not just users of AI, but smart, responsible thinkers who know how to use it for good—and for their good. Because when young minds understand AI, they don’t just follow the future. They help shape it.

What We Do

At GR4AI, we run hands-on workshops in schools for kids aged 8–12.Our sessions are playful, practical, and packed with real-life examples—from smart assistants to game algorithms to how AI spots patterns in photos. We break things down in a way kids can understand, without the jargon. Our goal is to spark curiosity and build AI literacy—so kids can think critically about the technology around them.We want them to see not just what AI does, but how it works, why it matters, and how to use it for good—and for their good.
